The Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling mechanical parts according to specifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities /n - Read and follow daily Manufactured Electronic Scheduler (MES) and other instructions to build and assemble parts in an accurate and timely fashion /n - Make routine inspection of products after assembling /n - Operate small hand and power tools /n - Maintains a 5S work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations /n - Participate in continuous improvement through submittal of improvement ideas and working with management and engineering to accomplish improvements /n /n Requirements Education and Experience /n - High school diploma or GED preferred /n - 3 to 5 years of mechanical assembly experience required /n /n Required Skills /n - Must be familiar with portable power tool and machine tools such as a drill press /n - Requires a basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics /n - Must have computer familiarity /n /n Physical Demands /n - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
