Job Description Job Description Robert Half is partnering with our client to identify a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a full-time, onsite role based in the south metro area and offers the opportunity to be part of something that’s building momentum. A well-established, growth-focused manufacturing organization in the Twin Cities Metro is expanding and investing in its future — and we’re looking for a talented Senior Accountant to grow with us. This is more than a traditional accounting role. You’ll be a key business partner, supporting operations and leadership with timely, accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis that drives smart decision-making. What You’ll Do: You will take ownership of core accounting functions while partnering closely with cross-functional teams: Fixed Assets & Capital Projects Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets — from acquisition through disposal Ensure capital expenditures align with company policy and GAAP Maintain accurate records, reconciliations, and reporting Partner with operations to track capital spending and support strategic investments Accounts Receivable Leadership Own the end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations Monitor aging, resolve issues proactively, and provide clear reporting to leadership Collaborate with sales, operations, and customers to strengthen processes and cash flow General Accounting & Close Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Play an active role in monthly and year-end close Support financial statement preparation, audits, and tax filings Identify and implement process improvements as the organization continues to scale What Makes This Opportunity Special Strong Growth Trajectory – Join a company investing in its people, systems, and long-term success High Visibility & Impact – Work directly with operations and leadership Collaborative Culture – A team-oriented environment where ideas are welcomed and initiative is valued Autonomy & Ownership – Take responsibility for your work while having the support you need to succeed Stability with Agility – The strength of an established organization with the flexibility of a private company What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience CPA (or progress toward CPA) preferred Strong Excel and systems proficiency Detail-oriented mindset with critical thinking skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Self-starter who thrives with ownership and accountability Manufacturing experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Supportive leadership and a great team-oriented culture Stable, internationally backed organization with long-term growth opportunities Engaging work environment where your contributions are valued If you’re looking for a role where your work truly matters — within a respected, growing manufacturing organization in the Twin Cities — we’d love to connect.
