Department Overview
The Speech-Language Pathology department specializes in the
evaluation and treatment of children with a range of diagnoses from
cleft palate to voice disorders. In addition they also evaluate and
treat children who may have difficulties with speech,
cognitive-linguistic skills, feeding and swallowing, and language.
Care is provided at the following facilities: Minneapolis, St.
Paul, Woodbury, Roseville, and Eden Prairie.
Position Summary
Responsible for the evaluation and provision of speech therapy
services to children; the accompanying written documentation and
verbal communication needed to administer care including provider
orders; provides patient/family/caregivers, staff, and student
training; provides a safe, clean environment; provides proper care
for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes
patient/family, provider, and intradepartmental satisfaction. All
of the positions' duties are performed within Children's MN
Standards of Behavior.
Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from an accredited speech
language pathology program. Certificate of Clinical Competence or
in Clinical Fellowship Year. Minnesota Department of Health
license. BLS Certification. Pediatric experience preferred.

national market. When determining individual pay rates, we

education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate,

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for
medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be
eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
