Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is
seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for overnight shifts,
requiring ARRT-R, BLS, and proficiency with Siemens and Epic. /n /n
Responsibilities/n - Work in an acute care, teaching hospital with
a Level 3 trauma designation - MRI department serving adult acute
care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma patient populations - Night
shift schedule: Sunday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM; Monday–Thursday 10:30
PM–6:30 AM - No weekend or on-call requirements - Procedures
include abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, musculoskeletal, and
spine MRI exams with specialized sequences (MRA, MRV, MRCP,
diffusion, gradient echo, etc.) - Utilizes Siemens MRI equipment
and PACS system - EMR is Epic (Excellian); experience preferred -
No floating required within the hospital - First-time travelers are
accepted - RTO ideally should not exceed 5 days - Dark gray scrubs
are required - Night shift parking is free onsite - Must provide at
least one supervisor reference for consideration - Travelers must
not have worked as perm staff at the facility within the past 3
months - Open to local candidates; no radius restrictions /n /n
Requirements/n - Active ARRT-R and BLS certifications required -
Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience - Experience in adult
acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings required -
Proficiency in abdominal, pelvic, chest, head/neck,
musculoskeletal, spine MRI, and specialized imaging techniques -
Experience with Siemens MRI equipment and PACS required - Ability
to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media - Knowledge
of radiation safety and isolation precautions - License required if
applicable - Must have active license by start date /n Benefits/n -
